FREE Commercial Water Advisory Service
Since September 2011, more than 60 businesses and organisations in the Port Douglas and Mossman region have registered for Council's Commercial Water Advisory Service. This FREE service is designed to help your business, community organisation or school become a more efficient water user. Not only is it FREE, it can help you to save money in the long run, by helping to reduce your water bills!
Local Council Plumbing Inspector, Michael Jorgensen, is out and about, visiting local businesses every week conducting the Commercial Water Advisory Service. Michael can walk through your business and identify where water savings can be made. You will then receive a detailed report about water use for your business and recommendations on water saving measures. You will also be provided with additional materials to help staff, customers, members or students understand the value of water and ways to use it wisely!
